Latest News: Hainan Baling Petrochemical’s 170,000-ton/year styrene thermoplastic elastomer project is a downstream industry project of Hainan Refinery’s 1 million-ton ethylene project. The project is currently under construction and is expected to be put into trial production in November this year.

At the project site, construction workers are carrying out construction operations such as process piping, steel structure installation, and civil work.

According to Tang Jibin, deputy director of the production technology department of Hainan Baling Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd., the current project progress of Baling Chemical is under control, and 77% of the progress plan has been completed.

The project fully relies on the geographical location of Yangpu, the advantages of the free trade port policy and the stable supply of raw materials for the 1 million-ton ethylene project of Hainan Refinery and Chemical, which reduces operating costs and has strong competitiveness. The target products are mainly exported, mainly for South China, Southeast Asia and the global market.
