The highest latitude pumped-storage power station unit in China is fully put into operation to generate electricity

On June 29, the State Grid Xinyuan Heilongjiang Huanggou Pumped-storage Power Station, which is currently the highest latitude pumped-storage power station in China, was fully put into operation to generate electricity. The commissioning of the power station will effectively ensure the safe and stable operation of the Northeast Power Grid, promote the consumption of new energy in the Northeast region, and play an important role in helping to build a new power system.
