Henan’s raw coal output increased by 3.2% in May, while the output of cleaned coal fell by 4.2%

According to data from the Henan Provincial Bureau of Statistics, in May, the output of industrial raw coal above designated size in Henan Province was 8.4969 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.2%; the output of cleaned coal was 2.7398 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 4.2%.

From January to May, the cumulative output of raw coal was 40.5615 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.5%.

In addition, in May, the province’s industrial power generation above designated size was 21.879 billion kwh, a year-on-year decrease of 2.2%; from January to May, the power generation was 122.868 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 3.9%.

In terms of varieties, in May, thermal power decreased by 5.9% year-on-year, hydropower increased by 6.9%, wind power increased by 16.6%, and solar power increased by 12.4%.

In May, coke output was 1.7609 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 33.8%.
