Bismuth

expansion upon solidification (resulting in the solid metal floating on the liquid metal).

Bismuth has a wide range of uses which take advantage of its unique properties such as it non-toxicity, low melting point, density, and color/appearance properties. A large chemical use of Bismuth Subsalicylate is found in anti-diarrheal formulations, Bismuth compounds are also used in cosmetics owing to their sheen in forms such as Bismuth Oxychloride.

NEWTOPCHEM manufactures both organic and inorganic forms of Bismuth. Our line of Bismuth products offer non-toxic alternatives to more toxic lead and mercury compounds.
